Tiger Zinda Hai Day 2 Collections

The much awaited sequel of 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai has hit the screens and it’s minting huge. After collecting whooping 34.10 crores India nett on day 1, Tiger Zinda Hai showed even more growth and collected 35.30 on the second day which has taken it’s total India collections to 69.40 crores. And now the film is all set to cross 100 crs mark by today itself, which is a remarkable feat.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the box-office figures and tweeted, “#TigerZindaHai emerges BOXOFFICE CHAMPION… Shows TERRIFIC trending on Day 2… All set to cross ₹ 100 cr today [Day 3]… Fri 34.10 cr [updated], Sat 35.30 cr. Total: ₹ 69.40 cr. India biz… Biz will be HUGE today and tomorrow [Christmas].” Not just in Indian theatres but Salman and Katrina’s Tiger Zinda Hai has also put up a brilliant show overseas.

Salman Khan’s previous release, Tubelight, didn’t fare well at the box-office and it turned out to be a huge disappoinment. Overall, the movie’s performance was not that bad but compared to Salman’s dhamakedaar Eid releases, the movie was a damp squib at the box office. With Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan seems to have got his groove back. The line ‘No One Hunts Like A Wounded Tiger’ perfectly suits on Salman in this situation.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the spy-thriller revolves around Salman Khan as a RAW agent, and Katrina as a ISI (Inter-services Intelligence) agent, and their deadly mission to rescue 25 Indian and 15 Pakistani nurses, who have been held hostage by ISIS, a terrorist organisation.
