Prasthanam is 2010 Telugu political-thriller that won critical acclaim and much fame to it’s lead cast. Set against the backdrop of a nexus between politics and business, Prasthanam is a story of greed, ambition and destruction. The film featured Sai Kumar, Sharwanand and Sundeep Kishan in the crucial roles.
The latest news we hear is that Sanjay Dutt is planning to remake the movie in Hindi. He will perform the role played by Sai Kumar in original. Deva Katta, who helmed the Telugu version, will direct the Hindi remake as well. No actors have been picked up yet for the roles of Sharwanand and Sundeep Kishan.
Sanjay Dutt, who is starting the second inning of his film career, is currently gearing up for his next release Bhoomi. It is directed by Omung Kumar and will release 22 sep. Prasthanam remake will start rolling by the end of this year.
