K.G.F is one of the most highly anticipated and big films of Kannada film industry. While the expectations are running high, the team has taken advantage of the same and has released the second poster of their film. The film is a complete period drama and is set in the 70s and early 80s.
As the makers release the look of lead actor Yash as Rocky, in a slick, suave 70s look, they reveal another major news. “KGF is going to have a release in four languages. Apart from Kannada, it will also have versions in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, which will mark our production house, Hombale Films, as well as Yash’s foray across these different industries,” says Karthik Gowda from the production house.
Bollywood top analyst Taran Adarsh also took this poster and news to his Twitter handle :-
“The film has so far been shot in Kolar, Bengaluru and Mysuru. “In our upcoming schedules, we plan on visiting Kolkata, Mumbai and Ladakh as well, apart from more shoots in Mysuru and Bengaluru,” added Karthik, who also says that after the success of Raajakumara, they are excited to venture outside Karnataka with this ambitious project that has raised a lot of expectations.
Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, KGF stars Yash and Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty in the lead roles while Achyuth Kumar, Ramya Krishan and Naseer are playing other crucial roles. The film is slated for a worldwide release in the end of 2017
