After many speculations, confirmations and denials, it is now official that Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez will star in the third installment of Race franchise titled ‘Race 3’. Other cast and crew is yet to be finalized. The film will be directed by Remo D’Souza and will start rolling from october. Ramesh Taurani who bankrolled the previous two parts, will produce this one as well.

According to the reports, the story of the movie will be completely different from the previous two parts. The first schedule will start in Mumbai by october, followed by a long international schedule. The movie wll be made on a lavish budget and many foreign technicians will join the crew.

The first installment of Race franchise, Race , was directed by Abbas-Mustan back in 2008 and was super-hit at the box-office. It featured Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor in the key roles.

The second installment, Race 2, was also helmed by Abbas-Mustan. This part, which released in 2013, became blockbuster at the box-office and entered in the 100 crs club. Race 2 featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Anil Kapoor in the crucial roles.
