Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi’s Baadshaho which released yesterday on across 2800 screens in India, has taken a thundering start at the box-office. The film was carrying a superb buzz all around it ever since the first look was released and it helped the film to achieve this feat. Baadshaho has collected 12.03 crs nett in India on day 1 and the numbers are good considering non-holiday release and bad weather conditions in Mumbai.
Box-office and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle, “ #Baadshaho starts on a SOLID NOTE… Fri ₹ 12.03 cr. India biz… Biz should only grow stronger on Sat and Sun.”
The heist drama set in 1975 opened to 50-60% occupancy and got mixed to positive response from audience as well as critics. Ajay Devgn and the whole cast’s top notch performance is being loved by audience. Baadshaho is directed by Milan Lutharia who is known for his cult-classic ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ with Ajay Devgn.
Due to positive reviews and good word of mouth, the film is expected to show more growth on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend collections are expected to cross 40 crores mark in India alone.
Baadshaho also stars Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta and Sanjai Mishra in crucial roles.
