Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming big budget epic Padmavati will also be released in 3D format, is a well known fact. Paramount Pictures, the film’s international distributor, has reportedly encouraged Bhansali to go 3D after falling in love with it’s outstanding trailer. But is it possible to convert the film in 3D in such short time as the film is scheduled to hit screens on Dec 1st. This is a big headache for the makers. Ajay Devgn’s VFX studio NY VFXWAALA – The VFX People is converting the film into 3D format and as per the sources, they have given commitment to get the film ready before it’s 1st December release. This is indeed a good step by makers as Ajay Devgn’s VFX Studio is known for it’s splendid work. The studio, a division of Ajay Devgn FFilms, has worked on the VFX of many Bollywood films including Baahubali, Shivaay, Bajirao Mastani, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Dilwale, Force 2, Tamasha as well as many big south Indian films. Now it’s working on Magnum Opus Padmavati for the past fortnight with the aim of delivering startling visuals that will that will leave Bhansali’s audience awestruck worldwide.
Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions jointly, Padmavati features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles while Aditi Rao Hydari, Raza Murad, Jim Sarbh will be seen playing other crucial roles. The film is based on epic poem ‘Padmavat’ by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. Padmavati has music given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself.
